Ms. Teresa Foard joined Stamford in 2020 as the Principal of the secondary school and brings over 25 years of rich experience in education, including 15+ years in leadership roles within IB World Schools across Europe and Asia. Originally from Australia, she previously served as the Assistant Principal at the International School of Ho Chi Minh City (ISHCMC), a Cognita school.
As an IB leader, Teresa trains educators throughout the Asia Pacific region, sharing her expertise and passion for the International Baccalaureate framework. A graduate of the Principal Training Center, she holds a Master of Education from the University of Melbourne, Australia, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in educational leadership for a better world.
Teresa states, “I’m dedicated to supporting students to discover their own unique pathways to graduation. I believe that every student has the potential to excel with the right support and can achieve excellence by pursuing their interests and talents. I am excited to inspire students to take ownership of their future.”
